What is fuels 2A6X4 like?

I'm thinking about joining and there's a reserve unit nearby that has a squadron of A10s. I would love to work around the planes but I don't know if I want to get into maintenance. Maybe fuels would still be a good way to work with the aircraft and stuff. What's a typical day doing fuels like? Aren't there two different tracks for doing fuels?
