Why is supporting the deportation of illegal immigrants conflated with being a Trump supporter?

I don’t know if this fits the rules so lmk. I feel like I’m going crazy on reddit and I probably need to get out more. I just don’t understand why there is so much outrage over ICE deportations of illegal immigrants. I understand the anger directed at wrongful actions like targeting all brown people but if a country wants to deport illegal aliens then it’s their right? Why am I accused of supporting Trump lmao. Many democrats including me irl that I know of have no problem with ICE doing this necessarily. Seems like all these folks on Reddit wouldn’t really have a problem with a beloved country like Canada and Mexico deporting Americans. Just seems like another AmErIcA bAd moment.
