Has anyone with an Aluminum Pocket tried it with the Analogue Hard Case? Be careful - it doesn't fit well.

My friend just got an Aluminum today, and after playing with it for a bit, he put it in the case.

Well - it doesn't fucking fit. It's too big.

Now he has a hard case stuck to the front of his Pocket, and we have been trying for 2 hours now to get it off. I can tell it's scratching up the unit too.

Any advice? We're about to just shatter the thing open.

And for those that bought the Aluminum + Hard Case, be careful.

(I feel like an asshole because I recommended this thing as a display case. Now, the dude just spent $600 to have his Pocket be potentially damaged by the thing meant to protect it. That sucks)

Edit:

After many hours, and a saw, we have rescued the Pocket. Immediately tried a different case and it's a perfect fit.

Conclusion: That specific case sucked ass. And unfortunately, there's some cosmetic damage on the corners.

Edit 2:

Analogue customer service has been wonderful. I need to give them props. They answered immediately and were very patient/helpful.
