Why do people make dad/daughter relationships weird?

My daughter is 3 and I've had so many people make creepy comments, like confirming that she sleeps in her own bed and not with me. ??? I'm HER DAD. She mostly sleeps in her bedroom but if she's not feeling good or falls asleep in my bed, I'm not moving her. What is wrong with people? I've had people ask what I do about bathing her, as if there's something sexual about a dad helping his little girl bathe. Do single moms with little boys get the same treatment? Is it because I'm young or are these people just disgusting?
