MCO Beauty wins and fails

  1. I bought the sponge that’s stored in that plastic egg with small holes, and I guess it’s a good hygienic storage method for after you wash it (so it doesn’t come in contact with dust/dirt, but still gets fresh air and doesn’t get musty). Decent. You can probably repurpose the plastic storage for any beauty sponge.

  2. I bought that “luminiser pen”, because the packaging marketed it as a highlighter. In reality, it’s more of a concealer pen - maybe a dupe for a YSL one that’s been around for decades. Except it’s not even remotely as good. Nothing luminous about it at all. I don’t have a use for it. It’s not a great concealer and it’s not brightening anything. Avoid.

  3. That Mascara in the white tube that everyone buys and is supposed to look like the Glossier packaging: it’s fine. Nothing special, mascara is mascara to me. Only the wand sometimes makes a difference, I don’t notice formula subtleties. It’s a convenient packaging for use (unlike those fat tubes that are hard to manipulate near the eye), works well. But the price is now $29. I don’t see a reason to pay this price, it only makes sense when it’s at 50% off. Otherwise this is a Sephora price tag, it’s unreasonable for a product that’s only expected to be used 3-6 months before expiry.

Anyone else can recommend on MCO Beauty stuff? How are the highlight and blush wands, any good?
