Braxton hicks after sweep

Had a membrane sweep at 11am yesterday morning. It’s now 6pm the following day and all day I have been having Braxton hicks 7-10 mins apart. My whole stomach tightens and I get only a slight cramp. No pain and it isn’t ramping up in frequency. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it turn into actual contractions?
