Doubts about starting bass setup (amp+bass)

Hi, I'm a saxophone player, I have some background in music and music theory (mainly jazz/blues), but I have always wanted to try playing bass as a side instrument.

In my flat, in order to avoid disturbing my neighbours I can't play the saxophone in the evenings/night, so I always though that electric bass would be pretty nice for that, since I can play using headphones.

I was planning to spend 300-400€ max in my first bass, I would also need headphones, since I only have USB headphones. I don't plan to gig or play with people, I only want to play by myself in my house. Also, I lean towards a PJ or Jbass, but I wouldn't mind a P Bass.

At first, I thought about buying the squier affinity pack that includes everything for 330€ + Behringer BH470 headphones (22€), and have my local music store adjust the bass, but I read too much reddit and EVERYONE seems to hate the Fender Rumble 15. So I got worried it would be extremely bad, even for playing by myself.

I started thinking, since I mainly want to play by myself and probably will use headphones most of the time, maybe I should buy another bass that could be better (Yamaha TRBX 174(249€), Ibanez GSR200(245€),GSR180(200€)) + VOX VGH-BASS(100€). AFAIK, those vox headphones are amp+headphones so I could use that to play, but I don't know much about it's quality.

My third option is buying one of the previously mentioned basses + Vox AmPlug 3 Bass (55€) + Behringer BH470 headphones (22€). or maybe some pedal + headphones, like the Zoom B1 Four (100€). Or even bass + audio interface (115€).

I'm pretty sure I would also need to change the starting strings of the bass.

I will probably ask my local music store, just in case, but they don't have much stock of anything and I'm afraid they could trick me.

If I stay playing bass for 6 months, and have no amplifier, I will probably be able to spend 300€ in an amplifier if I feel it's necessary.

The more I read, the more confused I am, so, between those options, what do you think could work best?

Options TLDR with badly estimated prices:

1.squier affinity pack + Behringer BH470 + bass adjustment and strings (360€+)

2.Starter Yamaha or Ibanez bass + VOX VGH-BASS instead of amp + bass adjustment and strings + bass strap (300-400€++)

3.yamaha/ibanez + Vox AmPlug 3 Bass + headphones + bass adjustment and strings + bass strap (A bit cheaper than option 2)

  1. yamaha/ibanez + Zoom B1 Four + cable + headphones + bass adjustment and strings + bass strap ( basically same price as option 2 + cable).

  2. yamaha/ibanez + audio interface focusrite scarlett 2i2 3rd gen+ bass adjustment and strings + cable (354€+)

Sorry for the big post, thanks in advance.
