Experiences with Risperidone/Risperdal?

I 25F, finally decided to go medicated for my mania for the first time after essentially destroying my life in a 2 month manic episode and was given Risperidone. Has anyone here been prescribed this? Can you tell me your experiences? What you liked/ disliked, side effects you’ve experienced, anything you think I should know? Thank you! ☺️
