All bran.

So the past two weeks I’ve been tightening up my diet. It has involved a bowl of all bran flakes with either bananas or raisins, and a whole grain bread sandwich with deli chicken slices, cholesterol-reducing margarine, light cheese slice and a big handful of cabbage (with a small amount of mayo smeared on the other slice). Morning tea I would have a baked fruit bar and a black coffee. I am DEFINITELY getting in my fibre.

For drinks I’ve been drinking lots of water flavored with some sugarfree drink mix. Dinner involves poached chicken or a chicken stir fry and rice.

Every day I have been averaging over 8000 steps just from going about my days.

As for the bathroom, I am either constipated or have diarrhoea, and I think this comes from the all bran. I’m supposed to have fluffy, smooth, well formed poops, but I haven’t seen it yet. Should I slow down on the fibre and just take some Metamucil instead?
