Possible bug not sure if it's me or not

So I am playing Cookie Run and trying to do the guild Alliance battles and I've been fine for like the first two years I was playing Cookie Run I play on an iPad just to clarify that now but recently starting about a year ago I can't do them for some reason every time I try doing the guild Alliance they crash almost instantly recently it started to get better but it's still crashes anybody have an idea why Cookie Run is literally the only game on my iPad I've got no photos no nothing
