Turkey trouble
need advice ASAP. I put my turkey in the oven at 3 PM and cooked it at 350°F for 4 hours. After all that time, the internal temperature was only around 157°F, so I put it back in for another 20 minutes—nothing changed. Tried again for another 20 minutes, and somehow, it’s now measuring lower at 148°F. How is that even possible?!
I’m at my wit’s end. My family is expecting, and I feel like I’ve ruined Thanksgiving. What could I possibly be doing wrong? I’ve been crying in the kitchen, and I just want to salvage this meal. Any advice would be appreciated.
