I started the game buy basically ended up going to school and cleaning rich people's houses for a few days before stopping, can anyone give me advice on how to make it fun?

Basically I started a loop where I go to school in the morning and clean houses for money cause it seemed like easy cash, any advice on how to build characters and do intereasting things?
