Is bumble scamming gay men ?

I was swiping through Bumble and literally profile of my best friend from college appeared and I was terrified ki bhai ye gay hai kya ? I later realized that he is not because hum ispe baat kar chuke hai and he could come out to me. (since I told him am bi). And that day he even showed me his all ex gfs and even one or two intimate pics (sfw)

So, is Bumble a scam ? Is it showing straight men to gay men ? And giving us false hopes ?

Also why men on Bumble are so dead ?
