Restaurant recommendations in the GTA for bfs birthday?

I’m looking for restaurants that I can surprise my boyfriend with. I wanted to do one with just us and another potentially with his friends. It’s our first time celebrating his birthday, so I’d like to take him somewhere nice, but also not super expensive since we’ll be doing other things in the day.
