A couple years ago I bought a sewing machine and taught myself how to sew. This was the height of the pandemic and Spiritus Systems Fanny packs were reselling for $200. I started selling my wares on GAFS and a few years later, was able to quit my job and make gear full time. I am not active on this sub much anymore but have been meaning to do this for a while to express my gratitude for the role GAFS played in helping me start a business.
