Hoyo changed Jiaoqiu’s line in JP
Previously, Jiaoqiu’s line here in the JP version was: “I can hear the sound of waves, as well as your heartbeat. That’s enough for me.” However, Hoyo recently removed the “heartbeat” part to align it with other language versions.
While some JP fans, particularly shippers, expressed disappointment over the change, I think it’s reasonable to prioritize consistency across translations. Maintaining uniformity helps ensure the intended meaning is preserved across all versions, even if it means losing some nuances in specific languages. What are your thoughts?
