Driving unaccompanied with a Learners permit

I’m just curious what others are doing if they are driving unaccompanied with a learners permit. I have my own car as the only other car in my household is an automatic. I drive my car a few times a week so it’s not sitting there idle and to get a bit of practice in but my dad who is the only person around that has a full licence for over 2 years I can go driving with and he isn’t always free to come with me. I don’t go to far from my house incase of getting caught and sometimes I take my L plates off just incase and put them back on when I get home. Is anyone else driving without their L plates unaccompanied or are ye leaving them on?
