Test Waiting Times

I failed my first driving test at Tallaght with a score of 10/8. I immediately applied for a retest, but the system shows that I need to wait until May 14th, 2025. Do I really have to wait that long for a retest? According to the RSA website, retests are supposed to be prioritized. Is this really the prioritized waiting time? I already waited 7 months for my first test, and I don't want to wait another 6 months for a retest. I'm really frustrated. Could anyone share their experience with me?
