Most dangerous thing to avoid

Hello, as a young male from Europe, I'm planing solo trip on two wheeler through non-main roads in Kerala. I'm collecting the people's opinions, what activity / place / time... etc. should I avoid to reduce risk. It's a totally different society, culture, fauna and flora. Already been to very North India and central India.

If there's something you know "wandering tourist" can have a problem with, please let me know.

I'm considering Kerala a safe place, but you decide.
