Steering Wheel Heating doesn't cover 10 to 2??? Why why why?

Ok, maybe more like 11 to 1 but doesn't Mazda know that a lot of guys drive with one hand at the top???

Is this a cost saving on inexpensive heating element material?

Or some stitching complexity that they're afraid of?
