Mexico City 7 day itinerary
**Edited due to the suggestions in the replies*
Need people to scruntise my itineary. I recognise that Mexico City is huge and I am not going to be able to do everything the first time I visit. I also do not want to overexert myself as well. I don't want more things added to this as I am trying to be realistic and also remember I am on holiday.
Day 1 - Arrival
- Arriving in Mexico City at 4:40am
- Go to hotel and store luggage
- Walk around Roma Notre and La Condensa (where I am staying)
- Check in at hotel at 3pm
- Find a nice place to eat for dinner
Maybe: Go to Lucha Libre in the evening (this is a must do activity for me but not sure if this something I should do on the first day)
**Due to trying to prevent altitude sickness and also jet lag, do not not want to do too much but got to stay up regardless**
Day 2 - Centro Historico
- Mid morning Centro Historico walking tour (sites on the tour are Templo Mayor, SEP, Zocalo, Catherdeal Metropolitan, House of Tiles, Avenida Francisco I. Madero, Palacio Postal and Palacio de Bellas Artes) - most of these are outside visits and won't be going inside them.
- Visit Palcino Bella De Artes
- Visit Templo Mayor
- Visit Museum de Popular Artes
- Visit Diego Riverea Mural Museum
- Barrio Chino
Day 3 - Coyoacán
- Frida Kahlo house (I know this is a mixed bag but already bought tickets)

Day 5 - Chapultepec Castle + Monument to the Revolution
Mostly a free day to do things I haven't done yet:
- Visit Monument to the Revolution
- Chapultepec Castle
Visit Palcino Bella De Artes- The Angel of Independence
Chapuletc Park (happy to just wander around and explore I have no intention of trying to see it all might use it as an opportunity to go on the cable cars)- Museo Jumex (if I have the time)
Maybe go to Polanco and Museo Jumex but this isn't completely necessary for me.
Day 6 - Free Day
This was going to be another free day but now I have found a really cool cultural Xochimilco tour I might do.
- Use this day to check out any places I havent seen, want to go back to or rest
Day 7 - Teotihuacan pyramids
- Hot air ballon ride and Teotihuacan pyramids
- Get ready to go to Puerto Escondido
