I’ve gone no contact after break up - his messages to me 21f 36m

I’m not responding to him, has anyone else received messages like this after finally leaving? I posted some of the other stuff he’s said to me since I left and I now see it’s ‘hoovering’. It goes on and on and on …. Even though he sent a message saying ‘I’ll shut up’ days ago lol

He wasn’t sending messages like this when I tried to speak to him during the 18 month relationship. Now once I leave he’s saying what he thinks I want to hear, but it is so late and feels unauthentic.

I’m getting better at spotting the manipulation, he is still putting it on me ‘I wish you told me’ I DID!!! EVERYTIME!!! When I brought up whatever he did, it would be flipped on me and that was fucking exhausting!

He mentions ‘I wish I didn’t abandon you during your deepest grief’ on the 1 year anniversary of my dads death he left me to sleep outside in a hammock so he could ‘recharge because he was feeling overwhelmed’

He also says ‘uppies’ 🫤

After this he sent me a cropped picture of his eyes, looked sad. Weird to send that when we are over.

I have not blocked him since I left him because I have his laptop (he lives in another country) and need to organise sending it to him. I’m not responding to him at all though.
