Best practices: high availability Nextcloud VM on Proxmox with data directory on TrueNas (ZFS)
Hi guys
I want to set up a Nextcloud VM on Promox for high availability. I have a cluster of three nodes running where the service would live. As for the data, I'm looking into saving it on my TrueNas Scale (ZFS) inside a NFS share.
Now the Proxmox part is pretty clear. Set-up a VM, install Nextcloud, done.
What I'm having issues with is setting up an NFS share and making sure that it'll seamlessly be used by the Nextcloud VM regardless of which node it's running on (in case one goes down). I have created a storage pool on Nextcloud already with 8 TB, but I don't think I even need that much (probably 2 TB would suffice).
Has anyone done this? I was searching for a guide but couldn't find anything so far.
Thanks!
