Got stuck progressing with my LS Slayer

Hey guys,
I'm a new SSF player and have no clue how to progress my char. I'm kinda hardstuck for a few days now. I farmed the uniques but am dying pretty frequently in T16s with bad mods. I'm very bad at detecting what improvements I need first and also what approach I wanna take on the build.
I saw Ben's POB and kinda respecced for the rage generation for damage in my tree as I didn't get the glove implicit within 120+ eldritch embers.

I got two tamings and the "hits can't be evaded" shield. Should I go for a claw?

Also the prismweave and carnage heart could be swapped but am desperately in need of the attribute mods. I'm already using a fertile mind in pob to get the required int.

Where I struggle the most: Crafting gear and farming essences therefore, dying pretty frequently in maps where I stand between mobs, general progressing.

I also have many uniques but not sure if any are worth adding. And I recombined a conquest lamellar that is now over ilvl 86+ that needs crafting. But not sure if to go for life until suppress or how to craft it exactly.

I don't know if anyone is willing to help but I would appreciate every little comment.
