Tracking Maintenance

I run a small property management company, and myself and my office staff are constantly having to stay on top of our maintenance team. They are honest guys who did good work, but it just seems like they are inherently incapable of staying on top of closing out workorders, tracking time and material, and following up with outside vendors without our help. I understand that they get pulled in a lot of different directions throughout the day, but there has got to be a way to run things more efficiently. Just about every maintenance guy I’ve ever worked with. struggled to stay on top of their paperwork, so I don’t know if it’s just a personality type or what. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate it!
