How likely that fire would reach me?

I’m not in the evacuation warning area yet, but it’s getting close. I’m scheduled to leave for a work trip early tomorrow (I won’t be back till next week), but I’m considering canceling and staying home. I have pets that will be alone most of the day, and my partner works in Carson, so it would take him a long time to get home if they needed to be evacuated. I wanted to get some opinions—should I stay home to be safe, or is it unlikely the fire will reach that far into town?
