Unsure about pet boarding request

I got a request to care for a dog for 9 days before the owner arrives in Toronto. They’re relocating and can’t do a meet-and-greet since they’re in another country. They also prefer to communicate directly, not through the app, saying they’re “old school.”

This has me feeling a bit uneasy. Should I trust it, or does something seem off? I just want to hear your thoughts!
