Hearty bread bakery for pumpernickel, rye, etc?

Does anyone have recommendations for a local bakery (in the general Sac area, could be like an hour away) where I can find fresh bread that's a bit denser, nuttier, heartier like pumpernickel or rye or German types of bread? Still something I can slice and put butter on but denser than like a normal sourdough. I love Upper Crust in Davis and Grateful Bread in Sac but not sure they have what I'm looking for (haven't checked Uppercrust recently though since it's not that nearby). Thanks for any tips!
