E Visa for the UK after 31 Dec 2024

Hi folks! I live in the UK and have a BRP. I had recently applied for a Schengen visa for Spain. I'll be leaving for Spain this month and will be returning in January. As the BRPs will be expiring at the end of this year, I had submitted a copy of a Share code with my visa application.

So my question is, when I return to the UK in January, how will they check my E Visa? Should I be expected to log into my UKVI account right then at immigration or should I take a copy of a Share code with me like I did for the visa application?

Also, should I be taking any other important documents besides my passport and BRP? I'm travelling to Europe for the first time so I just want to make sure that my trip would be hassle free.
