What happened to Conquerors?

I very rarely see them in the game lately. Maybe once in 100 random battles. Why don't people play them more? Is it a good ship? I plan on grinding the British line of BBs to get Conqueror because my favourite play style is HE spamming and fires. I have that premium Chinese copy of Tier 9 Lion, called Louchuan or something. I like the ship, although the aiming is terrible because you have to turn the whole ship almost horizontally to your target. But the healing is hilarious, you can restore almost the entire ship damage and rise from the dead like a zombie. Is Conqueror worth the grind these days?
