Okay this might be far fetched but I think Rhys understood that cassian was mentally outmatched with Nesta so he gave cassian those mental scheming missions so he can learn a thing or two so he can better handle nesta. Cassian was called a brute more than once throughout the book, oh that scheming clever RHYSAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!🗣️📢
