…is this a safe space to say I love Nesta as a character more than Feyre? I feel like Feyre is such a Mary Sue, I stopped liking her in ACOWAR. Nesta is flawed af and that makes her more realistic, I also liked the development of her relationship with Cassian a lot more than Feyre’s relationship with Rhysand even though I did enjoy ACOMAF a lot. Not excusing her actions btw, she IS a huge a**hole, but that’s precisely why I love reading from her perspective, I need more morally questionable characters as protagonists cause the hero archetype is overused. I’m hoping there’s also some kind of twist to Elain’s character in her book, cause her being all kindness and sparkles and rainbows and the way she’s infantilized in the story is very exasperating too.
