Why does Farmworld Finn wear an animal hat if there are no vampires existing in that reality?

In the Vampire Marceline episodes, they’ve said humans wear the animal hats so the vampires don’t target them, so why does this Finn wear an animal hat? Wouldn’t it make more sense if he just wore a plain white hat? Im probably just thinking too much into it lol I also wonder why humans still wear the animal hats later on in the show but I feel like that’s just cause they’ve evolved to keep them and they’re so scared of monsters. Idk
