Severe Toothache after Crown?

Hello, I got a crown done about a week ago on my very back molar and the process was very bloody and painful. Every day since then it has been nothing but constant throbbing pain and I've been having to take painkillers almost every hour of every day due to how bad it is. Talking, chewing, eating is a huge challenge. The pain of this has spread to the canine on the same side of the crown.

I can't tell if the crown is too high or crooked, but what I do know is there is this little grey spot on the side of the crown near the gum line that if I poke it, it hurts like I've just poked a cavity. I'm going back to the dentist in a few days but I'm very worried. I'd say this is about my top third most painful dental procedure.

I don't drink or smoke.
