What's Your View On God?

This one has been on my mind for awhile. Do you think there is a God? I grew up Catholic, but during my teenage years I turned to atheism. Being a teenager it was so simple when it came to God, if there was no God then I didn't have to listen to the claptrap at school or go to mass on Sunday. As a young adult though, I struggled more with the absence of God and turned to drinking and drug use instead. Since covid I've struggled more with it, more maybe realizing that if there's no God, then there's no heaven or hell, although I suppose I already knew that. But if there's no heaven and hell, then there's no sin nor redemption either, we all have to just live I suppose. Christianity(or Catholicism I suppose) made it harder, the Magdalene laundry scandal turned me completely off the idea of organized religion, but it also made me turn my back on spirituality, which was a big mistake. After my adventures into psychonautics, I'd now say that I'm more agnostic, what can I really know about God, but still I feel that there's something.

So, do you think God is still important in the 21st century? Or have we maybe outgrown him?
