New Scam alert

Recently, I was going on a walk with my friend, a few transgenders approached and begged for 10 rs, luckily I got few change in my pocket so I took out and gave them 10 holding another 10 in my hand. Then they said it is not good to give notes without an extra change like another 1 rupee. We don't had any change so they asked to take out our purse/money, so that they'll give us the extra 1 rupee. My friend took out his purse, they swapped the money in purse with the 1rupee. Luckily I said them to put the 1rupee on the 10 rs in my hand. But my friend lost 1000rs.
