Shohei Ohtani auto’s cards - what drives the value?

I’ve been reviewing Ohtani auto cards across his career and obviously Dodgers autos are in the thousands per card on resale. Why isn’t there the value for autos when he was an Angel?

I’ve managed to get a Topps Now auto from 2019 for £38 total - shipped to the UK from USA with Trout, Pujols & Ohtani auto’d. But then a Ohtani auto same year stand alone is £2000?

Apologies for my lack of knowledge. Post has been made to help increase my understanding of the card market / what drives value etc? Appreciate any input - positive or derogatory of my knowledge.
