Oversupply of milk. Advice needed to slow this down, please.

Hi all.

I'm new in this subreddit. I'm a STM with a 4 day old.

I'm exclusively pumping and have realized that I have quite a mad oversupply of milk. My newborn feeds very well (1-2oz every 3 hours as expected) but my freezer is filling up with milk as I'm already pumping 8-10oz every 3 hours. I have been since day 2 and it's getting a bit much.

The pain is also so unbearable at times. I went 4 hours without pumping last night and, when I woke up, I couldn't even bare to hand express for slight relief. Does anyone have any tips on how to slow this down without effecting future supply?

Also, what did you do with your oversupply?
