accidentally fell and landed on nwb ankle

Have been nwb for slightly over 5 weeks , accidentally put weight on my broken ankle in my fibreglass cast to stop myself from falling after losing my balance on crutches(weber b break - no surgery ). Had zero pain but have had some tingling sensation the past few hours since . Meant to be getting my cast off in the next few days hoping that there's been no damage. Have called the specialist getting an X-ray in 2 days. Just slightly anxious about set backs now.

Has anything similar happened to others with the tingling sensation?
