Spice died suddenly tonight. (warning, condition at death discussed)

Our son found her lifeless on the kitchen floor at 2 am, and she was already getting stiff. There was no sign of trauma, but some drool and a small amount of urine. She has eaten her bedtime wet food as usual and seemed fine when we turned in around 11. I can only assume she had a seizure or heart attack.

She was only 5 or 6, we adopted her and her sister as a bonded 6 month old pair during the pandemic. Is there anything we should have her sister Sugar checked for?

We have 2 older and 1 younger cat. He might not admit it but she was my husband’s favorite; she was always lying on him for naps and lying on his leg like a panther on a tree limb on his recliner.
