Ryan North has been delivering another classic era of Fantastic Four
With issue #24 coming this week I just wanted to give a shout out to my favorite Marvel book going on right now(outside of 6160).
This run is the FF at its core. North understands that the family dynamic is the beating heart of the series, and hammers it home with a perfect voice for every member of the first family, and even elevating Alicia.
The grand scale sci-fi concepts have been written so well. North writes scientific conundrums that intruige you without confusing you. It's written with a lot of finesse.
It's also just an accessible book. Fast paced stories that are wrapped up either by the end of the issue, or within 2 to 3. You can just jump right on and enjoy the ride.
I could go on and on, I'm in love with this run. What are your favorite issues? Do you dislike this run? Let me know all of your thoughts.
Personally my favorite issue is #10, a sci-fi horror story, telling of a lost space colony, that takes place over the span of generations.
