I just stalked the guy my gf was intimately texting

My gf was caught deleting texts. I went through her phone after having suspicions and found a thread of 30 messages deleted. She was planning to meet with a dude for head but when asking when they’d meet she simply texted “I’ll let you know when I’m omw,” meaning they were very familiar with each other.

I took screenshots and sent them, along with his number, to myself before clearing the evidence from her phone. I eventually confronted her, but only after going through her dating app profile, where I found she was texting multiple guys in seek of getting head back in may.

After talking and her doing all the right things to make me believe she can get a second and final chance, I kept having a nagging feeling that she was still talking to him (she promised to never respond or reach out to him).

I couldn’t shake the feeling and texted him from a WiFi number, mimicking her texting patterns from their actual chat. After he realized it was “her on a new phone,” i asked him when he was free. He said unprompted: I’m still getting over this sickness so I’d say next week is better. He later said If this is gonna be the last time i need to get more time with you.

They never texted about him being sick at all, which means after I confronted her she offered him a last time before ending things and he was unavailable due to being sick.

During that last conversation regarding her breaking my trust i asked her if she texted him again and she reassured me she didn’t. Then I revealed i texted him myself, with her face being a tad shocked. She stuck to her story but i know. I told her I’m choosing to forgive her because she does obviously care about me, but made it painfully obvious my emotions will not outweigh logic a second time.

I never told her how i got all that information. I set it up so it seemed like an innocent discovery so she wouldn’t get mad i went through her phone intently.

What she doesn’t know is that i know the name listed for him on all his hookup profiles and her contacts list is not his real name. I searched his phone number and found his real name, address, parents’ names, and a tad more. But I couldn’t find his social medias. She told me he followed her but never revealed his name. So i kept doing research on him and his suspected family members. Found his brother’s linkdin. Found his Reddit account (we like the same shit which got me salty). Found his high school and college sports teams. They played the same sports so i was a bit jealous she’d bond with him over that. And finally found his instagram, but it’s private.

I then searched for his IG handle and found his close friends that shared a group photo with him tagged in it. Now ik who he is, what he looks like and everything. If she ever decides to introduce me to him or claim she has a new friend by that name i’ll know. I finally reached the bottom of this rabbit hole.
