Humidity

Just moved to Oklahoma from Louisiana and the ambient humidity in the house is DRASTICALLY different. Originally I had my corn set up with cypress mulch cause I struggled to keep humidity lower than 80% in summer, but that's not working for up here even with daily soaks of the substrate

Would adding coco fiber and a room humidifier help? I plan to have my husband take me to the store later to get things for the enclosure to help so any advice is greatly appreciated.
