Night vs day time perfume

Is there such a think as a night time perfume and a day time perfume? What’s the difference and does it really matter. Also perfume u wear during the cold vs the hot. I’ve heard ppl say there is a difference but I also hear ppl say that it doesn’t matter & to wear what u want.
