Fan but not a student

Alright I’d like to ask this question directly to FSU Alumni/ Students. I have been a fan of FSU since I was a kid (maybe 3-4, now 21) because of my great grandfather and truly got into CFB and watching FSU in 2021. However, I go to USF and am not a student or alumni of FSU. I do plan on attending FSU for a masters if that is the route I decide to take later on in life. But if I do not attend FSU and while I do not now, is it still odd for students and alumni to see fans of your school that have never attended ? This may be a redundant or frivolous question, but I am curious.
