I'm struggling with imposter syndrome
Hello, I’m an 18 year old solo developer and soon about to reveal my video game. It’s been in development for about 2~ years but I’m losing an internal battle. I’m coming to reddit to be told how it is because I’ve lost hope in my usual support system.
From the content that I’ve attached does my game look appealing? I can’t for the life of me compare my game to other games. I haven’t marketed my game AT ALL because I’m so damn scared it’s gonna fail.
I’ve been making games since I was about 12 but I’ve never actually released one. I’ve released mods but that’s pretty much the extent of my public work.
