Why are millenials and gen z's beefing?
Let me rephrase the question: Why do millenials paint gen z in a negative light?
I am younger gen z, and my parents are older millennials. All millennials I've met have portrayed gen z as weak, bland, tasteless, lazy people who live off of technology, tik tok, lazy fashion, and are too demanding.
I've tried making this argument in decadeology but I've gotten downvoted to oblivion, so maybe you'll hear me out?
No two gen Z'ers are the same. A US gen Z upbringing isn't the same as a UK upbringing, or a Canadian upbringing, or a Korean upbringing, or a Brazilian upbringing, etc. Also, why should you hate on someone because they're from a certain generation?
Listen to this: YOUR BIRTH YEAR IS NOT A PERSONALITY! BEING BORN IN THE 90'S DOES NOT MAKE YOU BETTER THAN SOMEONE WHO WAS BORN IN THE 2010'S. BEING BORN IN THE 80'S DOES NOT MAKE YOU BETTER THAN SOMEONE WHO WAS BORN IN THE 2000'S.
Plus, it's not like Millennials didn't get the same treatment from gen X back when they were our ages right?
What happened to changing the course of history? You know, not repeating history?
Maybe I'm being too passive-aggressive, but I just wanted to get this off my chest. Peace out!
Edit: Spelling. English isn't my first language.
Edit again: I can't change the fucking title! So just ignore it. I had a thought in Spanish and tried to translate it into English, so please stop talking about beef. The rephrased question is the title. Sorry.
