I cant tell if this guys likes me or not

Some background info is we both just met at the beginning of the school year and have a few classes together. We also both male.

We both sit next to eachother in class and everything was normal until a few weeks into the school year. He randomly started to put his leg/thigh against mine and leave it there for an extended period of time. He does this whenever we sit next to eachother even when theres enough room not to. I dont have a problem with it but I kinda like him and idk if he also likes me. We are good friends and we talk outside of school but he is inherently “straight” and I’m a closeted bi you could say. I just dont know what to do. He also hasn’t shown ANY attraction to girls since the year started almost 6 months ago.
