iPad 12.9 4th gen vs 10th gen

Looking at a couple nice used models. For my going on 12 year old kid who is spending her money.

She is primarily attracted to the drawing functionality. Not high end artistry type of drawing.

I’m sure will be used for car trips and the like to watch shows.
