Restaurant chefs of jax, what would I need to become a food and beverage manager?
Just turned 21 and been thinking what I want to do with my life.
I’ve been in the food industry for 4 years, mostly bar food and quote on quote upscale dining (not really)
Worked at hookah lounges, a hotel, assisted living, and independent restaurants.
I don’t want to go to culinary school. As I am treating the food industry as all of it is just money to me.
I want to grow and be in a high paying position so I can work on my main goal to be a filmmaker.
I’m asking specifically in jax subreddit to get a specific experienced answer. Not just any answer from the other kitchen subreddits.
I’m asking for an answer to my question above and also advice from older chefs who are somewhat know where i am coming from, advice from the wiser older people
